Unbelieveable!
Sep 23rd
I went to see a very energentic speaker yesterday. The topic was super charging yourself. There is no reason why we cannot get what we want in life if we put our minds to it and think it everyday. A mind is a very powerful tool. A tool we often under estimate. When we hear others complain and crticize, we tend to beleive them and more often than not, participate in it. Just because the economy is in a tailspin, it does not mean we all have to participate. The stock market certainly is not, being up almost 50% since March. Intelletrace is not either. We continue to add people and grow. We are bringing on customers, who are having an unbelieveable year, from online businesses to traditional businesses, such as architects and trucking companies.

The next time you are in Pain or are stressed due to work, think of the positives and how fortunate you are. Things could be a lot worse. I think I am going to find a picture of that private jet I someday would like to have. What the heck, it is worth a shot.
Don’t Compete with Rivals-Make them Irrelevant
Sep 10th
I just finished a book called Blue Ocean Strategy. It is a simple book on making your competition irrelevant by creating uncontested market space. In this new economy with new rules to play by, it is more important than ever, for companies to be continually changing. Companies are often battling over market share and struggling for differentiation, which results in nothing more than shrinking profits. As prices for telecom services continually fall, it is important for Intelletrace to look at new markets and services to increase our market space.

The Blue Ocean Strategy helps companies to not only start thinking about new markets, but also new competitors and new buyers. The Blue Ocean Strategy provides a systematic approach, to keep your company from falling back. I am sure 10 years ago, Sony, the DVD or CD industry, the video industry, and the cell phone industry never thought Apple would their major competitor. Apple is a perfect example from moving their computing from a computer manufacturer to the leading device for downloading and listening to music. I highly recommend this book to anybody who would like to start creating a new strategy their company in this new economy.
